Portfolio Manager, Investment & Wealth Advisor
Kieran is a Portfolio Manager, Investment and Wealth Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities. A graduate of Boston University and a firm believer in ongoing education, Kieran has acquired the advanced industry designations of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Personal Financial Planner (PFP). He is licensed as a discretionary Portfolio Manager and can deal in and advise clients on derivatives instruments (options).
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Kieran pursued a short-lived professional hockey career as a member of the Colorado Avalanche organization of the National Hockey League (drafted 5th round, 124th overall in the 2009 NHL entry draft). He returned to Canada with a new purpose: to help families build and maintain their wealth and provide the necessary support to achieve their financial goals.
Kieran and his team implement financial, estate, tax, and insurance planning when establishing a client relationship, with each facet reviewed and updated annually. Investing for your unique situation, Kieran builds exclusive portfolios that he manages on a discretionary basis, which take each client's tax situation, risk profile, time horizon, and future income needs into consideration.
Kieran, his wife, Krista, and their two children reside in Edmonton.

Matt is a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having joined RBC in 1992. Matt holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Drawing on his in-depth knowledge and insight, Matt builds personalized, tax-efficient financial and investment plans to grow and protect the wealth of the families and business owners under his care. He actively embraces the wealth management process, which includes financial planning, risk management, and estate planning.
In his free time, Matt is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, the Sam’s, Hayley, and the two pups, Casey and Georgie.
Assistant
Diego is an Assistant with RBC Dominion Securities with a passion for simplifying clients’ lives and helping them achieve their goals. He joined Millan Private Wealth Group in 2021, and his strong work ethic and client focus quickly made him an integral part of the team.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Diego served as a Financial Advisor at a Big Five bank, where he developed a deep understanding of the financial industry and refined his client servicing skills. This experience has proven invaluable in his pursuit to deliver premium client service and support. Diego has also completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) and the Personal Financial Services Advice (PSFA) courses from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Outside of the office, Diego enjoys a well-rounded lifestyle, keeping active to maintain a healthy balance in both his personal and professional life. Fluent in English and Spanish, he has travelled the world, always eager to explore new destinations and cultures. Additionally, Diego is an avid fan of live music, finding joy in the vibrant energy and melodies of concerts and performances.
Associate
Paula is an Associate with RBC Dominion Securities committed to providing clients with premium, prompt, and professional service. She joined Millan Private Wealth Group in 2023, bringing a decade of experience in the financial services industry that strengthens the team’s ability to offer the best possible client experience.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Paula served as a Banking Advisor with RBC, having begun her career as a teller in 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and has completed the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course. In doing so, Paula acquired her Investment Representative (IR) license, allowing her to process unsolicited client transactions and offer the best possible service.
Paula, her husband, and her son enjoy their family adventures in South Edmonton. Outside of work, Paula is a distinguished crafter and can be found participating in local craft markets in and around the city.
